OhAPI 1.1.0 — Swagger 2.0 Support, External References, and More

We are happy to announce the release of OhAPI 1.1.0, a significant update to our OpenAPI viewer for macOS. This version brings several highly requested features and important improvements.

What's New

Swagger 2.0 Support

OhAPI now fully supports Swagger 2.0 specifications alongside OpenAPI 3.0 and 3.1. The version is automatically detected, so you can open any specification file regardless of the format.

External $ref Resolution

References to external files are now resolved automatically. OhAPI handles both JSON and YAML external files, with caching and JSON Pointer navigation for efficient multi-file specification browsing.

Security Schemes in Tree View

Security requirements are now displayed directly in the tree visualization. Each security scheme shows its name and scopes, giving you a complete picture of your API's security configuration at a glance.

• HTML description rendering — Rich text rendering for API descriptions.
• OpenAPI 3.1 webhooks — Webhook visualization in the tree diagram.
• Required flag on $ref nodes — Reference nodes now indicate whether they are required.
